Fish mint is one of the very useful natural antibiotics. Mothers often hesitate to give it to their children because of its bitter taste and cooling properties. However, fish mint and rice water are a specific and gentle remedy for cough.
Ingredients:
    A handful of fish mint.
Half a bowl of concentrated rice water.

Instructions:
Wash the fish mint thoroughly and crush it finely.
Boil the rice water, then add the fish mint and simmer over low heat.
Continue simmering for about 20 - 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Remove from heat, let it cool, then strain the liquid for the child to drink.
You can add a little sugar to make it easier for the child to drink.

Usage:
Give the child to drink 2 - 3 times a day, about an hour after meals.
Avoid giving it to the child before or after breastfeeding.
When treating cough with fish mint and rice water, mothers should limit the child's consumption of salty foods such as shrimp, crab, and chicken.
Food should be finely ground for easy swallowing and digestion by the child.
Supplement the child's diet with plenty of orange juice or lemonade.
If the child vomits frequently, supplement with digestive enzymes from yogurt.
